Maria originally worked within the health and social care industry for over 20 years, 16 of these was managing a residential home for older people here on the Isle of Wight.

Maria had suffered with back pain and sciatica in 2010; this is when she first experienced McTimoney chiropractic treatment. Through regular McTimoney chiropractic treatment she experienced the benefits of allowing the body to heal itself and the advantages of maintaining health and well-being. Due to this, she decided to embark on training to be a McTimoney chiropractor in 2010 qualifying in December 2015.

She has previously been a lifeguard and taught lifesaving and adult swimming. She has even been part of a synchronised swimming team!

Being a grade 8 cornet player, she enjoys playing within brass and concerts bands on the Island, and conducts a local marching band in her spare time.

Being born on the Island her obvious other passion is the sea where she enjoys sailing.

Her ambition is to enable a positive sense of physical, emotional and mental well-being.

Qualifications: Began training to be a McTimoney chiropractor in 2010, qualifying in December 2015.
